I can find no information on this modem but wouldn't mind betting its USB with Win only drivers. -- Patrick ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Yes and I bets its just BTs usual attempts to try and prevent anyone adding more than one computer to the service, bearing in mind these things are all to an industry 'standard' it can't be any more than needing the user name and password, and maybe the IP but BT usually charge extra for a fixed IP. -- Jon jon.bradbury@btinternet.com |

And £20 inc VAt isn't that much better than £0 plus VAT for unlimited service on Pipex and others. Typical BT marketting. Tony Tyler is still spouting forth, haven't seen The Ugliest Man in The World for a while, Paul Nesbitt and Simon Aughton have been MacUser for as long as I can remember (which is usually about three minutes, but hey)... I just had a look through the staff list, and can't say I recognise too many names. Interestingly enough, MacUser is an Apple trademark. -- Pd |

They seem to have realised you can't compete with the www for news and avoided the crap "game demo CD" route MacFormat have followed (did they not learn from AtariFormat). Maybe a nice fashion or recipe article would be nice though. Regards, Steve. |
