Default MS Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 and Mac OS X problem

I have this great looking Bluetooth mouse working in Mac OS X, but only
basic functions.
The included Microsoft driver which is intellimouse 6.1(only 6.0 is
available on their website) once installed cant see there is a
Microsoft Mouse connected, and therefore I cant setup or use the mouse
advanced features

any Ideas?

I have one too. They're really nice,

As far as I know, the Mouse is not supported on MacOS X. The MS drivers
won't let you setup anything for the mouse so you are left out with only
the default native support for bluetooth mouse the system comes with.

USB overdrive won't do much good either since it doesn't yet support
bluetooth devices.

There might be other apps out there that could do the trick though :-\ I
haven't tried.
