MAC OSX 10.4.8 - Printer Driver for Epson Stylus DX4850

Does anyone know of a printer driver for the Epson DX4850?

I've downloaded what purports to be such a driver from the Eson web
site, but it doesn't have all the property parameters as the same
printer driver for Windows 2000

e.g. this is a colour printer, but there is no way to select the
colour option, nor indeed the Draft, Text or Photo options etc..

If one doesn't exist, any ideas for a work around?

This sounds like the wrong driver for the printer. If you are using an
Intel based Mac, be sure that you have the Intel based drivers. If this
peripheral is being shared in a Mac environment, both computers must
have the same version of the driver. If this printer is attached to a
Windows computer and you are trying to print to it, I don't think the
drivers will support this type of connection.
