I have not been defending Apple. I am simply asking those that have
accused Apple of lying, cheating, or generally being dishonest to
provide proof to support their claims instead of speculation. Is such
a request unreasonable?

No...I did not. And I am not yet convinced that they had to. How did
you arrive at this conclusion?

Is this supposed to be proof that Apple had to use the G5? Is this
related to your "The real reason Apple used gcc for Spec" post that
didn't prove anything either?
