Look under your brain. An Apple SALESMAN tells you 99% of sales are
of the most expensive model. Gee, I *might* be skeptical.

You might be, but the clerks at the Apple Store don't get commission.

Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me. The people who are pre-ordering 2
months in advance are probably typical power users. And at $1999 for a
single G5/1.6 vs. $2999 for a dual G5/2.0 (and a better architecture to
boot), I certainly wouldn't be looking at the 1.6.

Now, once they've been shipping for a while and a wider range of users
start ordering, I would expect that the percentage of single processor
G5s they sell will increase.
