Paul,
Thanks for your mail. Mac Excel X supports Mac Roman characters and, if
registered as Japanese or when using Japanese Excel X, Mac Japanese
characters.
Russian/Cyrillic characters won't display correctly as you have seen. I
don't know of any work around. However, we are aware of customer interest in
expanding the characters supported by Mac Office applications and are
looking into it.
