I am trying to import a JPG file into Powerpoint, but it gives error:
"This file was not recognized by any installed graphics filter".
However, this shows up ok in the Preview under "Choose a
Picture" dialogue box. Any idea on how to fix this? Any help is
greatly appreciated.

I am using Powerpoint 2001 on Mac OS 10.2.

Hi

There may be some corruption or an unrecognized something or other in the
document. Try opening the graphic in a graphic editing program and saving
it as a new file.
