Hello
I'm running Power Point X on a mac with OS X and I'm having
trouble getting a smooth slide transition.
I've tried several different transitions (quiktime transition, normal
transition, etc.) and the transitions appear smooth on the slide
organizer and slide transition dialog box but not during the actual
slide show.
Please Help!
Thank You,
Chris

Jim, thanks for your response, I have 384mb of ram on a 350
mhz power pc G4......should this work?
I'm wondering if I've missed an obvious step to make transitions
smooth, quite possible in that I'm a new Power point and mac
user.
again, thanks for your continuing assistance
Chris

Hi Chris,

I don't think a 350mhz processor is hefty enough to handle all full screen
transitions smoothly in MacOSX. Have you looked into the possibility of an
upgraded video card?

I'm running Office x (10.0) on OS 10.2.6. If I try to export a PPT
presentation that has QT (ver 6.3) dissolve transitions the program
immediately crashes. The same presentation in cuts only form exports
and plays properly. Some QT transitions will export to movie form
woithout crashing PPT, but they will not playback in QT. Any
suggestions?

I'm also looking for suggestions for how to present the highest
quality PPT in terms of photo quality and smooth dissolve transitions.

thanks in advance.

Douglas

Download and install the latest Office X updates, which are 10.1.2, 10.1.4,
and 10.1.5 (10.1.3 is unnecessary). Theyıre available from Microsoft.
