Tried that, but it didn't seem to make any difference -- It still
just stayed on the first slide. Thanks , though. It is just so
strange,.....

Did you try creating a brand new blank presentation, one or two slides,
nothing on them, no fiddling with the Set Up Show, but straight to slide
show and if you click then, does it advance?

Success! It was the mp3s that were holding it up. I saved the show
to disk and played it in Windows and it worked beautifully (as far as
advancing) , and I realized I hadn't saved the mp3's to the disk. When
I went back to the orginal show and played it without the mp3's , it
worked. I hadn't worked with mp3's before in a PowerPoint and thought
they would stop automically stop when it advanced. I edited the mp3's
, inserted them, and it worked great.

That's great! Just one question: What sort of editing did you do to the
mp3s in your presentation?
