View Full Version : No sound when saved as .pps

Išve created a PPT file with each slide having a narrative sound file.
Everything works fine if I open the .ppt file and view the show from there.
If I save the file as a .pps the sound files do not play. Išve opened the
..pps file to see if the sound icons are still on the slide, and they are. I
then opened the sound icon info and found that the durations had all been
changed to 0:00 seconds after saving as a .pps file. Why would saving this
as a SHOW change anything other than adding an autorun script at the head?
Please help! Client needs these tomorrow!

Hi

Saving as a PPS should not affect the sound files. What version of
PowerPoint are you using on what version of which operating system? Have
you installed system and office updates for whatever you are using?
