Hi! I am interested in getting the new tablet PC from Toshiba., the
Portege 3500, but am concerned that I will be not be able to move the
word files saved on this to my Mac - any advice would be welcome!

If you do not tell the Mac they came from a Table PC, it will never know.

A Word file is a Word file, across all kinds of computers. Treat your Word
files from the Tablet PC exactly the same as you treat other Word files and
things will just "work". If you try to do things differently, then you may
create problems.
