A strange thing happened to me on the way to the forum ...

I was trying to read sometihng with WMP (I know, but I double-clicked on a
wmv file) and I got a strange error message. I thought I might be able to
find the meaning on MS web site (Hah! What a fool! But I did find out there
is a WMP newsgroup)

I typed in "mactopia" in the address bar of Safari - and was dumped in the
windowsupdate page! I have apparently expressed a desire to know more! Same
thing happened with Camino - no, I refused to use IE5.

Is this a backlash caused by MSBlast? Have they decided that Macs are
affecte4d - whether they like it or not?

Has anyone else seen this? And before you ask, yes I did retry having cleared
history and emptying the cache

It's just a temporary redirect problem; www.mactopia.com is supposed to
forward users to www.microsoft.com/mac. Should be fixed in the next few
days.
