I'm pretty sure you have to get a new English-language copy, but you should
be able to get an upgrade price on it, which is a lt cheaper than a
first-time purchase.

1./ No, you can't download complete Office, you have to buy it in a box.

2. No you can't apply an English update to a Japanese version using the same
serial key. Sorry.

There's no one here from Microsoft. We're all volunteers. You should be able
to contact Microsoft Sales & Customer Service for the definitive answer. I
guess you'd get someone speaking Japanese, but I bet they can pass you on to
someone speaking English.

Thanks Paul, I guess I'll be calling around to find an English version
supplier or I'll have to import it somehow.... Appreciate the quick
