View Full Version : Intellipoint G5 OS X 10.2.7 problems

The Intellipoint software does not see my mouse on my G5 (tried both
v 3.1 & 5). Same mouse, same software works on my other system
(G4 867 running 10.2.4)

Mouse is IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 USB.

With the G5, I always get the 'big red X' in system prefs. Tried everthing
suggested on the Microsoft sites - tried uninstalling/reinstalling
several times. Tried every possible USB port.

System Profiler properly identifies the Mouse, but Intellipoint claims 'No
Microsoft devices detected'

Anyone else having this problem?

Just a follow-up on my own message...

Finally got 3.1 to work - not sure why, just another attempt running
the uninstaller then reinstalling.

Everything seems fine - don't know about ver 5 - not inclined to try
given the negative posts I've seen here.
