How are they split and how are you joining them up? Are they uuencoded or
something as well?

Do other folks using those groups have problems? If not, why not? :-)

Cheers,

Chris

The dmg file is stuffed the split in to segments using stuffit, then
posted to the newsgroup,I download all the segments and rejoin them to
make the stuffed sit file which is then unstuffed to make the dmg
file, thats when I run in to problems with the dmg file not mounting.

Just a quick, polite request; please trim your posts. As you can see
above, I've been able to quote the relevant portions with a lot less
scrolling than your post had.

For more advice on news posting ettiquette, please see the URL in my
sig.

This isn't aimed at you specifically, mw; just that yours was the only
one I noticed while I've got all this time on my hands!

Thanks!

Are you posting responses that are easy for others to follow?

Are you running OS X or something earlier? If so, the problem with
getting stuck at "Processing DDM" may be related to trying to open a
disk image intented to be used in OS X only.
