Once Panther is out:
"Panther is crap! I'm going back to Jaguar!" ...in the great tradition
of: "Jaguar is crap! I'm going back to 10.1.5!" "10.1.x is crap! I'm
going back to 10.0.x!" "OS X is crap! I'm going back to OS 9!"

Yes, of course.
But on the other hand, when OS8 came out some of the many hacks 'n'
flacks who got freebies for publicly promoting it went far beyond
boosting into harsh attacks on any cash customer voicing a legit
complaint.
It ceased so suddenly that I could only conclude that Apple told 'em to
stop hectoring its customer base.
Apple has never since run that marketing gimmick.
