Is there an API anywhere for access to Pubmed? That is, code fragments
(preferably in C) or a callable library of routines which would allow my
program to access the Pubmed database via html (send http text and get back
search results in some well-defined data structure format)? If so, please
cc: replies to mlevin77[at]comcast.net. Thanks in advance!!

Not as such, but there are programming tools which can be used see
