I've got a demo/student/whatever licensed version of Runtime Revolution,
which means I can only do builds for Macs.

That's fine, but I'm curious to see how (or even if) this project works
under Windows.

The file is at http://just-john.com/cn/AArev.zip

It's a goofy little scheduler/die roller/speaker thing. Originally, it
was a Hypercard stack called "Toon Master," because it was for
scheduling cartoon noises and such for the game "Toon." But I got rid
of the Toon-specific stuff, and ported it to RunRev. So now it's the
"Atonal Apprentice."

Much of it doesn't work yet, even in the Mac version. I just want to
see if the speech stuff works in the Wintel world. If any RunRev people
feel like downloading it and building it, give me a holler. (Or you can
just fart around with it as is.)

I could have a look. I take it you have express.

If you have a upgrade subscription you can now change to the new rev
"dreamcard".

This is a new version of revolution that works on a runtime that is
available for distribution on all platforms. This would allow you to
run your stacks on mac, linux or win.

If you have express like me you can also upgraqde to the full studio
at half price.

I see no reason why your stack should not work on win, but I can give
it a try.

Sorry for the delat in replying. I was on holiday for 3 weeks.
