Have you tried running it through the hub into the router. I have to do
this with some of my old computers because my Netgear router won't
autosense their network cards.

Running it throught the hub to the router seems to solve the problem.
It now works flawlessly. Thanks to all.

I'm a bit annoyed that I have to have one more device plugged in. Now
I have one more transformer plugged into an already out-of-control
surge protector. I guess it's a small price to pay to have wireless
internet AND printing.
