All I need is a programm to check my RAM, the problem is somewhat solved
, I replaced the top 128 MB card with the old 32 MB RAM and now it works
much faster, I guess there could be 2 solutions, either the RAM module
was bad (Acer) or the whole top module of the RAM slot is bad, can
anyone tell me what happens if the RAM slot is broken, do none of the
cards work or just one and is this possible, all I can tell is that
"Apple system profile" recognized both cards and I do not get any
startup faillures, also still looking for RAMometer or better Techtool
for a complete RAM check, I run OS 9.2.2.

I would also like to know how many frames should be visible in "Itunes"
with a imac 266 ands 160 MB of memory, mine shows 8 to 10 frames a
second in Itunes with full screen (I am referring to the "effects that
can be shown in the rhythm of the music)

Hope to hear from someone

Greetings Oscar

Hi Oscar...

Well, with my imac 500mhz, 512mb of ram, I get about 15 frames at full
screen large and about 25 at full screen medium.
