Want to buy a powerbook for school. I have go to ebay and see some
powerbook selling at $1000. Can it be trusted? It's a very attractive price
since as a student, I don't have much money to spend on.

Help is highly appreciated.

NO!!!!!!!!
So,meone stole my ebay id and was scamming people for 17" powerbooks at
$1000.......i regained my account and at least one person lost the $1000.

While ther are many reputable dealers on ebay 9 myself being one - the old
saying is often true..."if it seems way too good to be true, it probably
is"

A new $3000 laptop for $1000 is too good to be true
